ADHD & School Support

Free Introductory Workshop for Parents & Carers

This free introductory workshop is designed for parents and carers of children with ADHD who are trying to better understand their child’s needs and navigate support within school.

Many families find themselves juggling a lot — working out how to ask for help, make sense of school systems, and support their child emotionally at the same time. This session offers a gentle, practical starting point.

We’ll explore:

  • How ADHD can show up in the school environment
  • Why some children struggle with attention, regulation and transitions
  • How to approach schools and ask for support
  • Understanding Child’s Planning Meetings and Additional Support Needs (ASN)
  • Practical strategies that can support both at home and in school
  • Looking after yourself as a parent or carer

This workshop is designed to be helpful as a standalone session, whether you’re at the very beginning of your journey or looking for a clearer way forward.

Looking Ahead: Parent Support Programme

During the session, we’ll also introduce a new parent support programme launching later this year.

This programme will bring together evidence-informed parenting approaches used in neurodevelopmental support, alongside the compassionate, nervous-system-informed approach used in Mindful Mornings.

The aim is to support parents to:

  • Build a deeper understanding of their child’s ADHD
  • Reduce conflict and overwhelm at home
  • Support emotional regulation (for both child and parent)
  • Navigate school systems with more confidence
  • Feel more empowered when advocating for their child
  • Connect with other parents who understand the journey

The programme will run as small, supportive group sessions, with space for discussion, shared learning and practical strategies.

More information will be shared during the workshop.

If a group setting doesn’t feel like the right fit for you, there is also the option to speak with Rachel one-to-one.

These individual sessions offer a more private, personalised space to talk through your child’s needs, your current challenges, and any support you may be navigating. Together, you can explore practical strategies, next steps with school, and ways to support both your child and yourself.

One-to-one sessions are £50 for a 60-minute appointment.
